About Joey
Joey Lopez is a graphic designer in Southern California.
He has worked with Fortune 100 corporations and non-profit organizations, creating and executing brand experiences, environmental graphics, print, publications, and web. He specializes in custom typography, masthead, and typeface design. He is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree at the Art Institute of California – Orange County in Graphic Design, and has interned with the Walt Disney Company in merchandising, and at a printing press as a graphic designer, and pre-press technician. His portfolio earned him the Art Institute’s Graphic Design scholarship in 2009. He won the LG Innovation Challenge design competition of 2009. He is the President emeritus of the Art Institute’s AIGA Student Group, and is a member of the AIGA Orange County chapter.
