Becoming a world class brand with more media attention than ever

We sought out to use this NYTF for media impressions, and did it ever pay off. Eye catching displays, interactive placements, a rainforest jungle, and room for shows to host their events from inside the booth.

This multi-faceted wall was created from existing retail slat wall fixtures with gator-board overlays, LED self-lighting, and a 3-screen video wall. Each element hand-created by the EI Creative team.

More Media Attention Than Ever

My vision for this booth was to be comprised of several film-ready backdrops for media outlets to film against. This successful implementation of design and wide open areas accomplished both ADA compliance and allowed for film crews from across the world to use our booth as a set.

Themed Areas

This space dedicated to the Design & Drill brand as a store-within-a-store experience, immersed attendees in the brand.

Hands-On

Counter tops featuring product out of their boxes and interactive were what previous booths had been missing. Allowing attendees to touch, feel, and interact with the toys AND their packaging, such as the Bolt Buddies reversible packaging, made them a big hit!

A Place To Fit In

Board Games were an often overlooked product line for Educational Insights, with many best-sellers and a variety of ages and gameplay types. I proposed having the full array of our board games featured in the same area, with the latest entries at counter height and out of their boxes to interact with, while still being among the other titles for quick cross-selling by sales people.

Feature What’s New, Cherish The Legacy

For the GeoSafari®Jr. line of products, we wanted to show off our new collaborations with Bindi and Robert Irwin’s respective ‘Talking’ products like the Talking Camera and Talking Globe; while still allowing attendees to see how much we love our best-sellers in the line as well. To accomplish this, I created a jungle themed room area using printed backdrops, decor foliage, podiums, glass shelves and lots of proper lighting.

No Touchy!

For these playsets featuring Playfoam, the touchable tactile compound, we wanted their colorful varieties to take center stage, but not to be disturbed by attendees. I created this feature wall made from gator board cutouts and pet-window transparent domes. Having separate stations to interact with the product allowed this wall display complete with video screen, to be a popular Instagram backdrop!

Protect The Valuable, But Keep It Moving!

For this interactive display featuring our electronic building blocks, I used duplicate sets of low-cost freestanding display counters to allow a double-layer counter top. The non-wheeled parts of the product could then be affixed semi-permanently to the countertops and the entire 3 sets moved to a different location, such as for a private demo in a meeting room, or to be secured at the end of each show day.

Interactive counter displays with large colorful backdrops allows attendees to experience the full play-pattern of these products.

Thank you.
